For over a decade, Brigitte worked as an employment lawyer and consultant at one of the largest corporate law firms in Southern Africa. She litigated for, advised, and trained corporate clients on all aspects of employment law and was involved in mediating industry negotiations and interpersonal workplace conflicts. Later, leaning into her desire to innovate, Brigitte became the employment law practice group, knowledge and learning lawyer, designing, and implementing systems to increase practice efficiencies and creating and facilitating training for junior lawyers.
In 2018, Brigitte moved to Boston, MA with her family, where she immersed herself in human-centered design practice and joined the MIT Sloan Design Club and DesignWorks program, redesigning MIT Sloan’s career guidance program and leading a team of MBA students through the design process. Since 2020, Brigitte has coached and developed talented professionals in high-stakes careers like law, medicine, and engineering to lean into their creativity, unique strengths and develop their leadership skills.
Now based in Sacramento, CA, Brigitte partners with organizations to create and deliver innovative and client-specific solutions, primarily focused on optimizing talent wellness, performance, and engagement. In addition to drawing on her diverse, global experience, Brigitte is a qualified attorney, a Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution accredited mediator (CEDR, UK), a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and has advanced training in mental fitness coaching through Positive Intelligence.
